October 2009
(Unknown age) (2 Sightings)
Like the phoenix from the ashes he appears every winter only to disappear in the summer time. Both sightings had him on central Toulon; he was in great shape and looked healthy as ever. Lets see what his next move is.
September 2009
He was found on two occasions at Charleston rock, both sightings had him in good condition and looking far younger than he is. The same has he did last year he has moved back into Mala Mala for the dry months but lets see how much longer he stays for this time.

WESTERN TOULON, WESTERN CHARLESTON
(2 sightings)
Appearing from nowhere last month this male again popped up in unexpected places to make for some interesting situations. Much older than the Tjellahanga male he is certainly not territorial or looking for territory but still with his presence must come a response. This month was not the month for a confrontation but as prey gets more concentrated expect fire works along the banks of the sand river if this male hangs around.
June 2009
WESTERN TOULON, WESTERN CHARLESTON
(2 sightings)
Seen twice this old male cannot be left out. He has not been seen for almost a year and suddenly appears out of nowhere. Looking healthy he walked with the confidence of a leopard half his age. As he did two years ago the Beaumont’s male appeared mid winter hung around the sand river until summer time and then disappeared. Lets see if he doest the same this time round.
May 2009
WESTERN TOULON, WESTERN CHARLESTON
(4 sightings)
This old battered male has surprised everyone and seems to have returned from the dead. One of the last occasions he was seen was last year when the Bicycle crossing male was chasing him out of his territory on northern Charleston. Since then it is unknown where he has been, the sightings of him this month have all being on Toulon. Whether he is still territorial and scent marking remains to be seen, it could be in his old age he has become a nomadic drifter like all old males before him.
